Vetrio Privacy Policy

Vetrio is a remote-control app for smart TVs (Android TV / Google TV, including Xiaomi Mi Box, Roku, Samsung Tizen, and LG webOS). This page explains, in plain language, what Vetrio does and does not do with your data.

We do not collect any data

Vetrio does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no backend server that receives information about you or your device usage.

How the app works

• Local network only: Vetrio talks directly to your TV over your local Wi-Fi network (Android TV Remote protocol, Roku ECP, Samsung/LG local APIs). Nothing you do in the app is sent to the internet.
• Voice commands: Speech recognition runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Speech framework. Audio never leaves your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
• Camera (pairing scanner): The camera is used only to read a pairing code shown on your TV screen, entirely on-device. No photos or video are stored or transmitted.
• Purchases: The optional "Vetrio Pro" unlock is handled entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). We do not receive your payment information.

Third parties

Vetrio contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
